Cruising around the Maltese Islands

What better way to see the sights than with a refreshing sea breeze on your face.  From the sea, you can enjoy a very special vantage point denied to landlubbers.

You can reach a shimmering Blue Lagoon, and Comino's secret rocky inlets.  You can watch the beach bathers from afar knowing you have your own secluded patch of water to dip into.  You can savour the romance of a dinner on board to the sound of the water lapping.

Confronted close up by towering cliffs and impenetrable bastions, you can experience approaching the Islands as invaders would have done in centuries past.

Choose from an hour or so round Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour, taking in the cradle of Maltese history: Valletta, the Three Cities and Manoel Island.  Or opt for half- or full-day tours cruising northwards to the sister islands of Gozo and Comino. A stop at Comino’s Blue Lagoon is a must.  The limpid, azure waters are excellent for snorkelling.

To go back in time to the days of sail, join a group aboard an old-fashioned, rigged ship. If you’re tempted to try sailing for yourself, the Islands have plenty of schools to help you find your sea legs with the sport.
